In 2021 I was named by Small Business Britain as one of their f:entrepreneur #ialso100 winners and this week (7thMarch) I attended an event at the House of Lords to celebrate this.
The f:Entrepreneur #ialso100 celebrates and showcases amazing female entrepreneurs from all over the UK and is brought to you by the f:Entrepreneur campaign, run by Small Business Britain. The goal of the campaign is to celebrate the dynamic and inspirational businesses led by women in the UK. It is aimed at both men and women because everyone has something to learn from these stories of challenge and success. Michelle Ovens, founder of Small Business Britain says “It is so vital that we recognise and celebrate the phenomenal contribution that women running businesses are making across the UK and the far reaching, positive impact they are having, not just on the economy but on wider communities too.”

Due to covid the winners of 2021 had to wait until this year to attend the House of Lords. It was an inspiring event meeting so many amazing female business founders and the perfect celebration to all fall in the same week as International Women’s Day.
