London-based PR firm Tim Reid Media has been awarded a bronze award at the worldwide Indie Awards run by thenetworkone.
The awards are designed to celebrate global creative excellence in the independent agency sector across the marketing, communications, and advertising industry.
Tim Reid Media was shortlisted in the Public Good category for an entirely pro-bono PR project for the Chinook Justice Campaign, which over the last six months of 2025 achieved mountains of media coverage, cross party political support, more than 52,000 signatures on a change.org petition and resulted in December with the families meeting ministers for the first time in 31 years.
The global network announced the winners of the top creative and talent for 2026 at their Awards Ceremony hosted in London at Four Communications and virtually broadcast to over 100 countries on 28th January 2026.
Tim Reid Media was announced as the bronze winner in the Public Good Category.
Tim Reid, founder and director, said: “We are thrilled to win on the international stage. This is a win for the families of those who died on 2nd June 1994 and who are still fighting for truth, transparency and justice.
“It is a pleasure working with the families, but to be honest this is not a campaign that we should have had to deliver. The families should not still be having to fight for the truth about why their loved ones died on an unairworthy RAF Chinook helicopter which should never have been in the air. We will continue to campaign until they get justice.”
Reid dedicated the award to the victims, to their families, and in particular to David Hill, the campaign’s technical advisor and former MoD aeronautical engineer who died two weeks ago, and who had spent three decades determined to uncover the truth.
In 2025, Tim Reid Media was name one of the most impactful independent PR practitioners in the UK at the inaugural Impact 50 Awards.
The Indie Awards are designed to honour and amplify the entrepreneurial spirit of independent agencies. But this is about far more than creativity alone.
Independent agencies are competing – and winning – on the international stage against the largest holding companies and networks in the world.
What continues to set this community apart, especially in the 2026 edition of our awards, is its supportive, warm atmosphere and its deeply human approach to business. That combination is powerful, and it’s exactly what these winners represent.
