Worcestershire duo partner with nationwide recruitment experts to bring new jobs and training to Worcester

Worcester-based recruitment duo, Gareth Matts and Mike Pincott, have partnered with The Jarell Group of companies, to launch a new recruitment agency on Copenhagen Street.

GMP Recruitment immediately brings 5 jobs to the city, with more expected by the end of 2019. The new business will provide both temporary and permanent recruitment services across Worcester to companies in the Industrial, Technical, Commercial and Healthcare Sectors.

Mike Pincott, Director of GMP, commented “Gareth and I are both Worcester through and through. It is great to be bringing investment into the city we love and creating jobs. Worcester has always been an innovative, resilient, business hub so, when we approached Jarell for their investment, for them it was a no-brainer. We are really excited to take this forward”

The Jarell Group, a £50 million turnover recruitment group, headquartered in the heart of Birmingham, have offices and operations throughout the UK. GMP is the 7th new operation for the Jarell group in the last 2 years after 6 previous high-profile acquisitions. Jarell currently have eight recruitment brands already under their umbrella and have plans to expand into the Worcestershire region and beyond across 2020 in order to meet their goal of being a £100m turnover group by 2021. “This is a fantastic opportunity for Jarell to partner with experienced professionals such as Mike and Gareth in order to continue to grow our brand across the Midlands” James Cronin, also from Worcester and Jarell Group’s Commercial Director, said.

Mike and Gareth are no strangers to the region, both working in Worcestershire based recruitment agencies for the past decade and both bring a wealth of experience to GMP. Gareth Matts, Director of GMP, commented; “This is something Mike and I have always wanted to do and being able to work with an innovative and experienced organisation like Jarell is a great opportunity not only for us but for the region”.
