Thursfields named as ‘Outstanding Team’ in finals of major Solihull business awards

Thursfields Solicitors has been named as a finalist in a top category in the Solihull Business Improvement District (BID) Excellence awards.

The leading Midlands law firm has been shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding Team’ category of the awards which are to be presented in a ceremony at St Johns Hotel on Warwick Road, Solihull on 22 November.

The shortlisting comes as Thursfields experiences continued growth in Solihull, where it has recently moved to bigger offices and become increasingly involved in business and community projects across the borough.

Robert Pettigrew, Commercial Property Director and Lead Lawyer at Thursfields’ Solihull Office, said: “We’re delighted to have been named as one of Solihull’s ‘Outstanding Teams’ in the BID’s awards.

“Through key recruitment we have built on an already a strong base and have significantly boosted our expertise and capability to undertake more complex work to a very high standard, and it means a lot to us to be recognised by the local business community.

More than 100 entries were received for the BID’s annual awards and judges are now interviewing each shortlisted candidate or business. This year’s awards feature the following seven categories:

  • Best Customer Service
  • Outstanding Team
  • Innovation and Enterprise
  • Best Hospitality and Leisure
  • Best Community Social Responsibility Project, and
  • Best Apprentice/Trainee and Best Independent.
