The partnership aims to promote healthcare excellence, encourage collaborations, and implement initiatives across both nations. The alliance will focus on education, research, medical tourism, innovative care models, patient safety, and climate-friendly health systems.

This 2030 vision for India-UK relations emphasises an important partnership aimed at mutual benefits and global well-being. On migration and mobility, the plan includes implementing a comprehensive Migration and Mobility Partnership to facilitate the movement of students and professionals while addressing irregular migration in light of the UK’s new skills-based immigration policy.
It also proposes a joint dialogue for a potential Social Security Agreement, diplomatic visa waiver arrangements to ease official exchanges, and enhanced cooperation under existing extradition and legal assistance treaties.
In the realm of health, the partnership seeks to leverage joint research and innovation to tackle major global health challenges, enhance health security, and build pandemic resilience. This includes an expanded India-UK Health Partnership, regular strategic dialogues, and an action plan on health and life sciences to increase collaboration in clinical education, health worker mobility, and digital health, alongside facilitating the exchange of healthcare professionals and increasing access for Indian generic medicines to the UK market.
With the roundtable bringing together the participation of high-level delegates and support from significant institutions, TERN Group continues to play a pivotal role in nurturing cross-border collaborations and contributing to the growth of the healthcare sector.
