Microblading specialist to introduce ‘Pay with a Smile’ initiative for cancer patients.
Jolán Microblading, which serves customers from salons in Harpenden, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Bletchley, Luton, Dunstable, Welwyn Garden City, Watford and St Albans is set to offer cancer patients the opportunity to receive a microblading treatment at 70% off.
After cancer treatment many people find that their eyebrow hair does not grow back the same as it used to and can be quite sparse and patchy. Microblading is a form of semi-permanent make up whereby cosmetic pigment is applied to the upper dermis of the skin to create the appearance of natural hairs.
Nikki Ahmetoglu, owner of Jolán Microblading said: “With the launch of the ‘Pay with a Smile’ campaign I hope to help cancer patients who have experienced eyebrow loss as a result of their cancer treatment.
“Eyebrows are such an important feature of our face and losing them can cause a lot of anxiety for cancer patients. By providing this treatment at 70% off to one customer per month I hope to give my client their confidence back and one less thing to worry about.”
It is recommended that microblading takes place either prior to cancer treatment or at least six months following treatment as skin can be extremely sensitive.
A full consultation will take place before the treatment to discuss shape and style together with a sensitivity patch test.
