Oldham IT support firm celebrating 20th business anniversary with 20 good deeds nears completion with 15 deeds done

Back in August, to celebrate an amazing 20 years in business, Oldham-based tech firm, Aspect IT, committed to doing 20 Good Deeds.

Fast forward to now and the IT business have just completed their 15th Good Deed, meaning they are ¾ of the way there towards their goal of 20!

Director for Aspect IT, Peter Dorotiak, commented: “We’ve always been passionate about giving back and making a positive change so the 20 Good Deeds initiative felt like the perfect way to celebrate the huge milestone that is our 20th anniversary.”

Aspect IT started the initiative last summer when the firm designed and provided free marketing material (business cards, flyers, posters) for Huddersfield to Ukraine Humanitarian Aid, a voluntary group dedicated to supporting the people of Ukraine.

Subsequent Good Deeds then saw Aspect IT donate much-needed food donations to local foodbanks, give IT equipment to Age UK Oldham, provide food and cleaning supplies to Pennine Pen Animal Rescue, sponsor the Pennine Mencap charity ball, gift selection boxes to The Together Centre and deliver essential items to The Crib Baby Bank.

Good Deed 10 then came around in December and this was a proud moment for the business, not just because it marked the halfway point on their journey to 20, but also because of the extra special nature of this Good Deed.

For Good Deed 10, Director for Aspect IT, Peter, joined voluntary group, Huddersfield to Ukraine Humanitarian Aid, on one of their trips to Ukraine. Peter helped the group deliver presents to children who had been left orphaned due to the ongoing war.

Since the completion of Good Deed 10, Aspect IT have donated Easter eggs to a local school appeal, created a free website for Leeds Ukrainian Community Association, given items to homeless charity, Coffee4Craig, and sponsored a staff member’s mum in the Great Manchester Run.

Most recently, for their 15th Good Deed, the firm donated a range of items to Hollingworth Hub foodbank. The completion of Good Deed 15 means there are just 5 more to go before the team reach their target of 20.

The firm’s Marketing Executive, Alysha Pritchard, commented: “We’ve come across so many amazing charities, groups and individuals whilst carrying out our Good Deeds and our eyes have been opened to the inspiring work being carried out by people in our community.

As our 20th Good Deed target approaches we look forward to seeing where the remainder of our journey takes us and who else we’ll meet and support.”

Founded in 2003, Aspect IT provide an array of services including general IT Support as well as IT Consultancy, Cloud Services, Software Development, VoIP Services, Web Design and Social Media Management.
