- Oil prices falling welcomed by fuelGenie
- SMEs and fleet operators can make further savings at the pump by using a fuel card
- fuelGenie can be used at over 1,350 locations nationwide
Leading fuel card provider fuelGenie has welcomed the drop in wholesale oil prices and is urging businesses to make further fuel savings by switching to fuel cards which can be used at lower cost supermarket fuel pumps.
The latest advice follows a turbulent time for the price of brent crude which has recently hit eyewatering levels, resulting in all-time high UK pump prices, but is now easing to around $100 a barrel for the first time in two weeks.
Retailers are expected to pass on falling wholesale costs to businesses in the coming weeks, as long as there is no further price volatility.
And SMEs and fleet operators can make further savings by switching to fuel cards, such as fuelGenie, which can be used at over 1,350 conveniently located Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s forecourts nationwide.
fuelGenie’s Managing Director Robert Pieczka commented: “At last there is the possibility of some welcome relief for all businesses, including SMEs and fleet operators filling up at the forecourt.
“However, if prices remain higher than in recent times then there is still the opportunity to save at the pump by switching to a fuel card like fuelGenie which can be used at a variety of supermarket forecourts.
