New homes available for younger buyers in Rugby

More homes aimed at couples and young families are set to be built at a housing development in Rugby.

Ashberry Homes East Midlands is building a range of new homes at Tilia Park, off Coventry Road in Cawston, near Rugby, and a planning application to amend its plans for the south-eastern portion of the site has been approved by Rugby Borough Council.

The housebuilder will replace 19 four and five-bedroom detached houses with 26 predominantly smaller properties, including three and four-bedroom homes with a mix of semi-detached and detached designs.

Carolyne Watkinson, Sales Director for Ashberry Homes East Midlands, said: “We have been delighted at the interest we’ve already received in the new homes we’re building at Tilia Park. We have worked closely with the local authorities to ensure the development provides something for people at all stages of their life, from first-time buyers to growing families and downsizers.

“We have noticed that there is a particular demand for smaller homes in the local area, and our amended plans will allow us to meet the needs of more local buyers who are starting out on the property ladder.

“In the meantime, I would urge anyone interested to visit the development to find out more, as there really is something for everyone here.”

The first three-bedroom homes are now available to secure, with prices starting at £292,000.
