The expansion will see Boutique Workplace Co significantly increase its footprint at The Pinnacle, where it currently only occupies the second floor.
The company is refurbishing the ground and first floors to create a 25,000 sq ft flexible workspace accommodating up to 400 desks. The new offering – to be known as ‘The Exchange’ – will comprise 50 office suites for teams of between two and 35 people, alongside five meeting rooms, a coworking lounge, and a mix of formal and informal collaboration spaces.
The move comes as demand for high-quality office accommodation continues to strengthen across the city. Recent research from LSH shows that while the South East office market is expected to achieve average growth of 4.0% in 2026, Milton Keynes is set to lead the region with a projected growth rate of 17%. That figure is more than double the growth forecast for other high-performing centres such as Oxford and Brighton, both of which are expected to grow by 8%.[1]
The Boutique Workplace Company is aiming to bring a more grown-up and sophisticated approach to flexible workspace in Milton Keynes, combining professionally designed offices with spaces that support collaboration, connection and different ways of working.
Alongside the private office suites and meeting rooms, the coworking lounge will provide a choice of settings for informal meetings, focused work or taking a break. Several kitchens are located throughout the space, offering barista-style hot drinks, while many of the office suites overlook The Pinnacle’s expansive urban courtyard, with its planting and seating areas.
The expansion represents another milestone in Boutique Workplace Co’s regional growth strategy outside central London, following successful operations in Birmingham, Glasgow, Richmond, Kingston, Ealing and Cheltenham.
Daniel Wheble, CEO of The Boutique Workplace Company, said: “For many years, Milton Keynes has been on our radar, as a fast-growing and dynamic city. And whilst there are many serviced office operators already in the city, our belief is that there is a void in the more premium end, where amenities and a rich hospitality experience are a point of difference. We’re looking forward to bringing the best of Boutique to Milton Keynes and integrating into the city’s business networks. Our first step is to partner with MK Dons FC as their Official Workplace Partner and sponsors of their Executive Club.”
Representing the owner, Will Kinnear from HEWN commented: “The Pinnacle has been repositioned to provide over 78,000 sq.ft. of best in class workspace, the addition of The Boutique Workplace Company sets the building apart in the Milton Keynes market. Their product and customer experience offers occupiers of all sizes a unique offering.”
The Pinnacle is just a seven-minute walk from Milton Keynes Central station and direct rail connections to London Euston. On-site parking is also available, while the building benefits from food and beverage provision.
The expansion reinforces Boutique Workplace Co’s commitment to bringing its distinctive approach to flexible workspace to regional business communities, while giving Milton Keynes businesses greater choice over where and how they work.
