Niki Redwood
Nasstar is delighted to announce that it’s Financial Director, Niki Redwood has been recognised as part of the CEO Today Business Women of the Year Awards 2018. The awards celebrate women who are the driving force behind their business, whilst also driving the equality agenda within their organisation and beyond.
Niki has been integral to the success of Nasstar since its inception in 1998. Niki’s father, David Redwood founded the business at a time when Niki had just returned from traveling the world, having worked for KPMG in Brisbane as well as undertaking numerous accountancy projects for businesses in Sydney, Australia and then running her own events management company once back in the UK.
The story goes that David asked Niki for her help setting up the business which she agreed to do for a few months, 18 years later Niki is still Nasstar’s Finance Director and still core to the growth and development of the business.
Having obtained a BSc in Mathematical Sciences at Bath University, Niki qualified as an ACA with KPMG, winning regional prizes in both intermediate and final exams, and became a FCA in 2008. Niki worked in KPMG’s small business division from 1993 to 1996 before joining the business in 1999, initially as Financial Controller, before becoming Finance Director in 2006.
Niki is extremely deserving of this award due to her long-standing contribution to Nasstar and we’re delighted to see her recognised as part of a celebration of the female leaders redefining business today and tomorrow, congratulations!
