Leading Birmingham law firm Mills & Reeve have been awarded Best Diversity and Inclusion Initiative by the Legal Education and Training Group (LETG).
The firm won the award for their work around diversity and inclusion across their six offices for two specific projects; increasing the number of female partners and an initiative to increase BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) representation across the firm.
This comes on the back of the Law Society asking Birmingham partner Dawn Brathwaite to attend The Queen’s Garden Part at Buckingham Palace in May for her ongoing work around diversity and inclusion, the firm winning Legal Week Marketing Innovation Award for their website – www.cohabitation-law.co.uk, winning a Best Trainer award from Law.Careers.net and being named for the 15th consecutive year in The Sunday Time Top 100 Employers list.
