Empowering diversity: Female tattoo artists level the playing field

We’re saying farewell to male artists dominating the tattoo scene.

As Women’s History Month dawns upon us, Tattoodo proudly stands as a company of equality and diversity in the tattoo industry. Today, women have not only caught up but are leading the charge showcasing their talents.

Contrary to outdated stereotypes, the tattoo industry is experiencing a shift – recent studies, including a poll by Piya Sinha-Roy, reveal a remarkable trend: in the United States, tattooed women now outnumber men, comprising 59% of the tattooed population. Furthermore, research from NIH.gov underscores that women in their 20s exhibit the highest rates of tattooing, showcasing their undeniable influence and presence in the industry.

What better way to celebrate these females than to share some of Tattoodo’s top artists?
