Come and join FITC on an ‘African Adventure’ in Ghana

Notts County Football in the Community are offering supporters and the local Nottinghamshire community a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Ghana for an unforgettable volunteer experience.

In partnership with African Adventures, Notts County Football in the Community staff and volunteers will fly out in October 2020 and spend ten days undertaking a number of projects to positively impact the lives of local people in the village of Woe.

Volunteers can choose to support children’s education by assisting teachers with lessons for ages 3-17 or by getting involved in the building and renovation of new learning spaces.

Notts County Football in the Community are looking for volunteers from the age of 16 to help support these essential programmes within Ghana.

A launch event is being held in the 1862 Suite at Meadow Lane on 20th November from 7pm onwards, providing anyone interested with all the information on the trip.

All money raised will go back into African Adventures and Notts County Football in the Community. African Adventures work with 25 community educational projects in developing areas of Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar, impacting the lives of the 20,000 children who attend.

Notts County Football in the Community provide high-quality accessible life changing opportunities through sport and physical activity, improving people’s health, education, confidence and skills, increasing positive behaviours and bringing enjoyment to the local Nottinghamshire community which they service.
