Birmingham Royal Ballet dancers Miki Mizutani, who plays Cinderella, and her Prince, Yasuo Atsuji, went to the ball at The Grand Hotel, Birmingham last week ahead of their shows at Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
Closed since 2002, The Grand Hotel reopened last month, just in time for Cinderella and her Prince to discover the ornate Grand Ballroom, featuring art deco chandeliers dating from the early 1900s, and the resplendent grand staircase.
Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Cinderella opened at Birmingham Repertory Theatre last Friday (18 June), and runs until this Saturday (26 June).
