Business gives back to Rugby and Hockey Clubs

Coventry and North Warwickshire Hockey Club Kit sponsored by Rothen Ecology

Charlotte Lea and Ian Rothen, who are both business owners and avid hockey and rugby players, recently supplied new team kits to Berkswell and Balsall Rugby Club, and Coventry and North Warwickshire Hockey Club.

Charlotte Lea, Ecologist at Rothen Ecology, has been a member of Coventry and North Warwickshire Hockey Club for 20 years, and also holds the accolade of being the first female Chair(person) the Club has had during its 124 years.

Ian Rothen, Founder of The Rothen Group – a national independent civil engineering and maintenance business servicing UK Waterways, has been playing with the Berkswell and Balsall Rugby Club for the last ten years.

Thanks to the new team kits, both Clubs will now sport brand new uniform designs for 2019.

Speaking about receiving the donation, Dominic Bell, Chairman of the Coventry and North Warwickshire Hockey Club, said: “Over the years, we have been extremely thankful to Charlotte for her support both on and off the Hockey pitch, but also for the generosity shown to us all on behalf of Rothen Ecology. The new team kit looks great and our members wear it with pride.”

James Fahy, Captain of Berkswell and Balsall Rugby Club, said: “Without sponsorship we couldn’t do half of what we do to promote the sport in the local community, so needless to say Ian and The Rothen Group’s contribution is so appreciated.”
