Kirsty Davies-Chinnock was announced as the 2025 Manufacturing Leader at The Business Desk awards for Women with Metal.

Kirsty is no stranger to the manufacturing scene as the Managing Director of Professional Polishing Services Limited with a career spanning over 35 years in the metal sector. She started Women with Metal by accidentally holding the first conference in 2023 and this year will hold the third conference at The ICC, Birmingham, on the 8th October 2025.

Kirsty said “Women with Metal is such a young company that it is a real privilege to win this award.  What I love is that it proves that it isn’t just about me – it’s a win for everyone working hard to drive change in the metal and manufacturing sectors; empowering women and allies and making an impact.”

19 winners were crowned in front of the West Midlands business community at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham city centre.

The awards are independently judged by the region’s business leaders and our panel of judges for this year consisted of Andy Begley, CEO of Shropshire Council, Henrietta Brealey, CEO of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, Andrew Lovett, CEO of the Black Country Living Museum and Abbie Vlahakis, CEO of Millenium Point.

TheBusinessDesk.com’s West Midlands editor Anna Cooper, who chaired the panel, said: “Congratulations to all our winners – and those shortlisted. The standard of this year’s nominations was higher than ever, displaying the depth and breadth of the leadership talent in the West Midlands.”
