Zoe’s Place coming out on top

Staff at Pertemps were given the opportunity to bring forward charity names and vote for their chosen charities. As a result, Pertemps donated £8,262 to Zoe’s Place.

Pertemps is the UK’s largest privately-owned recruitment agency with over 200 offices across the country. It regularly supports charitable and community initiatives and this year put charity recipients to an employee vote.

Muna Chauhan, Corporate Manager at Zoe’s Place said:Pertemps has made a huge difference with this donation. Our crucial services to support babies and infants with life-limiting illnesses would not be possible without donations from businesses and individuals so I cannot thank the employees of Pertemps enough for everything they’ve done to raise this money.”

Pertemps Chairman Tim Watts said: “Pertemps recognises that it has a corporate responsibility to uphold but it is very much more than that: we are a business with a heart. Our employees astound me time and time again with the lengths they’re prepared to go to in the pursuit of helping others. I can speak for all of us when we say that all charities are worthwhile, but we have been touched by the stories we have heard about this particular two charities.”

Leslie Lambert, Pertemps Network Group charity committee member, said: “We have been raising money as a charity for eight years and, at the start of this year, asked all of our employees to put forward names and vote for our chosen charities. Zoe’s Place came out on top.”

Zoe’s Place provide palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
