Workspace Pioneer Spaces to Open in Birmingham

Creative workspace pioneer Spaces has announced that it will be opening a work hub in Birmingham. The workspace will occupy all 7,523 sq m of The Crossway on Great Charles Street.

Born in Amsterdam, Spaces provides a productive working environment which allows its users to integrate work into their lifestyle. The company has an entrepreneurial ethos, and encourages members to network with others through co-working.

The new Birmingham hub will not just offer co-working opportunities, but will provide a variety of services in order to meet the needs of today’s entrepreneurial businesses. These include serviced offices, day offices, bookable meeting rooms and virtual office facilities.

The Crossway is an impressive location for businesses to call home and host clients. Situated just a 10 minute walk from New Street station and a 23 minute drive from Birmingham Airport, Spaces Birmingham offers excellent accessibility via road, rail and air.

This announcement demonstrates further momentum in Spaces’ UK expansion. Founded in 2006, the company is already home to businesses in several locations across the UK, including London, Liverpool, Brighton and Glasgow, with plans to announce more locations in the coming months. Outside of the UK, Spaces’ global footprint now spans more than 25 countries, including the USA, Israel, Norway, Japan and Spain.

Richard Morris, UK CEO Spaces, comments: “Spaces’ emphasis on networking and community allows users to meet others who share a belief in the power of collaborative working”

“Birmingham is an important business location that connects the North and South which makes it the perfect fit for our expansion plans.  Our new hub will provide a flexible environment for businesses to grow in a key, strategic business location.”
