West Midlands Travel Business wins Barclays National Entrepreneur Award

A West Midlands based business has been announced as the winner in the national Barclays Entrepreneurs Awards.

Limitless Travel Ltd – an award winning company which specialises in organising holidays for people with disabilities, received the accolade in the Social Entrepreneur of the Year category which seeks to recognise a business delivering transformative, social or environmental change.

The company, which was founded in 2015, is the UK’s leading provider of disabled-friendly holidays, catering for individual needs.

The business was founded by Angus Drummond who has muscular dystrophy who recognised that many people with disabilities were struggling to research and book their holidays in the comfort of knowing their needs would be catered for.

Commenting on the award, Angus Drummond, Founder of Limitless Travel said: “I was absolutely delighted to be told that we had won this award. It’s great for our team to receive the recognition for the work that’s been done.”

Commenting on the award, Ray O’Donoghue, Managing Director for Barclays in the Midlands said: “The Barclays Entrepreneur Awards are a celebration of our clients and an official recognition of their entrepreneurial successes and leadership. This is the third year of the awards and the evening will recognize clients from across the UK.”

The national winners were announced at a National Awards Dinner in London last night which was also attended by the other winning entrepreneurs and industry experts.

A national judging panel made up of key industry leaders and influencers selected the overall winners and presented the awards on the night.
