A renowned Northampton vets has invested £215,000 as part of a major expansion and rebranding project, which will build on its high level of service to pet owners in the town.
Spinney Vets, which was previously known as Spinney Lodge and has served pet owners in Northampton for over 45 years, has just completed the transformation of its Wootton Fields surgery.
It has also rebranded its Kettering Road hospital, along with launching a new-look website, making contact easier than ever for clients past and present.
At Wootton, Spinney has doubled the number of consulting rooms from two to four in order to accommodate three vets and a veterinary nurse, while it now has a dedicated theatre and X-ray area.
The new facilities will allow for multi-parameter monitoring while a pet is under anaesthetic so staff can notice any changes in their vital signs much more easily, making the process much safer.
The centre expanded into a former estate agents’ office next door to give it the space needed for the extensive improvement works.
Lisa Bond, Wootton Fields’ clinical director, said: “This has been a huge project and we are extremely excited about showing our clients, old and new, the amazing transformation that has taken place at Wootton Fields.
“This expansion has hugely increased what we are able to offer and will mean major advances in our diagnostic capabilities.
“Pet owners will no longer have to go to our hospital on Kettering Road, for an X-ray, which may have put them off in the past, as they can now get it done here.
“Pets will also be seen quicker as we have doubled the number of consultation rooms.
“With the expansion, rebranding and new website, it is an extremely exciting time for Spinney Vets.”
