Thursfields Solicitors has been named as the “Outstanding Team of the Year” at a business awards ceremony in Solihull.

The leading Midlands law firm won the prestigious category in the Solihull Business Improvement District (BID) Excellence Awards 2018.

The success comes as a result of Thursfields’ continued investment in the Borough where its targeted growth programme has enabled the firm to expand its offering to local businesses and the community.

Robert Pettigrew, Commercial Property Director and Lead Lawyer at Thursfields’ Solihull office, said: “We’re thrilled to have won this award which reflects our across the board delivery of a high quality, professional, efficient, effective and personal service.

“It’s particularly pleasing that the award recognises the achievements of the entire team, as we’ve built an exceptional team here who work together to support the whole Solihull community, ensuring we can provide a comprehensive one stop legal service.  Being recognised by our peers in the local business community is greatly appreciated.”

Melanie Palmer, Executive Director at Solihull BID, said: “Congratulations to Thursfields Solicitors for winning the ‘Outstanding Teams’ category in the finals of our Excellence Awards.

“We have an unrivalled two square miles of success in the town centre and these awards provide the perfect opportunity to show the rest of the region why Solihull is simply the best.”

Hundreds of people attended the red-carpet awards ceremony at St Johns Hotel on Warwick Road, Solihull on Thursday 22 November.

The winners were announced by ITV News Central newsreader Sameena Ali-Khan, while the Deputy Mayor of Solihull, Cllr Stuart Davis, and the Leader of Solihull Borough Council, Cllr Bob Sleigh, were among the guests.
