The Donna Louise welcomes new Chief Executive

New CEO, Simon Fuller

The Donna Louise has today welcomed Simon Fuller as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Simon was previously Director of Services at the national charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, where he worked for 11 years, helping to create 28 young people’s units and developing cancer services across the UK.

He said, “Children, young people and families are always my focus whether planning and delivering services, fundraising or promoting the work of the charity. I’m very passionate about the delivery of quality services and I’m delighted to join The Donna Louise team.”

Simon brings a wealth of experience to The Donna Louise as, prior to working for Teenage Cancer Trust, he worked in nurse education and across the NHS in a variety of project and management roles. He also worked in Stoke with the University Hospital and commissioners, and has a clinical nursing degree in Oncology and a Masters Degree in Health Service Policy and Management.

Simon has also previously worked as an adult nurse in surgery, respiratory medicine, haematology and chemotherapy outpatients.

Commenting on his new role at The Donna Louise, Simon added, “It’s a huge privilege to become the Chief Executive of The Donna Louise. I’m proud to be joining such a fantastic, motivated team and I’m particularly excited to be joining the charity at such an important time with the development of our services for young adults and the construction of our new young adult facility.”
