London-leading physiotherapy provider Six Physio has officially opened a new specialist clinic in Wimbledon Village, marking its 12th London location and 14th nationwide.
The new clinic, located at 57 Church Road, Wimbledon Village, opened the same week Six Physio launched its brand refresh for its 30th anniversary. It provides access to specialist care for men and women’s pelvic health, pre- and postnatal support, and chronic pain conditions including endometriosis and adenomyosis, as well as specialist hand and wrist therapy.
Around three-quarters of a million women are on gynaecology waiting lists in the UK, while 52% of men say they would wait until symptoms become hard to ignore before seeking help.
Hamish von Bergen, Clinic Director at Six Physio Wimbledon, said: “Physiotherapy can play a crucial role in treating conditions that many men and women face, from early diagnosis and prevention to pain management and long-term rehabilitation. But many often struggle to access the care they need, and a lot of conditions still aren’t talked about openly – think pelvic health, prostate or bowel – and that silence is part of the problem.
“This is exactly why we’re expanding our clinic network, with a specialist team who can have those conversations, help people feel comfortable, and provide effective physiotherapy care and support when they need it.”
The new Wimbledon clinic also provides expert physiotherapy for back, neck, and joint pain, sports and performance, and Clinical Pilates.
