Stoke Audi Business Manager, Simon Guest, has braved the shave, going hairless to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Swansway Audi Brand Director, Paul Woodhead, leapt into action with the clippers, leaving Aimie Vaughan to tidy up the tufts he’d left behind! Simon was happy to wave his hair goodbye as he has more reason than most to value the work done by Cancer Research UK.
Simon explained, “This is a cause that’s very close to my heart. Last year my daughter, Hattie, just 25 at the time, was diagnosed with Hodgkins’ Lymphoma. Anyone who’s a parent will be able to imagine just how devastating that was for the whole family.
“It’s not something that you ever expect to happen, especially not to your happy, healthy young daughter; the good news is that Hattie’s just had her 12 month scan and she was given the all clear”!
“So, now’s the perfect time for me to give something back to the amazing charity that helped us through Hattie’s treatment; shaving my head is nothing compared to what Hattie went through”, added Simon.
