ShyneFest, one of Surrey’s most beloved live music festivals, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! To mark this exciting milestone, the festival is thrilled to announce that it has been nominated for the Best Family Fun Category at the prestigious Surrey Awards 2025.
The Surrey Awards, now in their 4th year, are a highlight of Surrey’s social calendar, bringing together 400 of the county’s business leaders, influencers and celebrities for a glitzy, red carpet gala dinner. This year’s ceremony will take place on 15th May at G Live in Guildford, with funds raised going to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
ShyneFest’s nomination for Best Family Fun Category is a testament to its commitment to creating a family-friendly environment filled with music, arts and unforgettable entertainment and activities for people of all ages. Since its founding, ShyneFest has grown into a highly anticipated annual event, known for its diverse lineup, engaging activities and inclusive atmosphere. The Surrey Awards are known for their star-studded guest list, which this year includes high-profile figures such as HRH, the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, ‘Harry Potter’ star Tom Felton, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and many more. The event also features live performances from music legends like Shayla Bonnick of Boney M and Reef frontman Gary Stringer (who are headlining ShyneFest this year), making it an evening to remember.
In addition to the glamorous dinner and performances, the gala will feature a Surrey Fashion Week catwalk show, aerial acrobatics by Elena from Ocean Beach Ibiza. This exciting night will also see the announcement of the winners in various categories, including the Best Family Fun Category, where ShyneFest is proudly nominated.
