Verity Kirby, new legal director at Shakespeare Martineau
Two members of the West Midlands private capital team at law firm, Shakespeare Martineau, have been promoted to legal director.
In the firm’s Birmingham office, Verity Kirby has been promoted to legal director. Verity advises clients on matters including estate planning, trusts, powers of attorney and court of protection issues, with a particular focus on individuals and entrepreneurs. Verity has worked with Shakespeare Martineau for a number of years and is a fully-qualified STEP practitioner.
Elsewhere in the West Midlands private capital team, Helen Bowns has joined the firm’s Stratford office as a legal director. Helen is an experienced family lawyer, advising on issues involving businesses, farms and trusts, as well as on complex children issues.
Other promotions across the firm include the promotion of Andrew Gore and Jenny Keen to senior planner in the Nottingham office of Marrons Planning, part of Shakespeare Martineau; and the promotion of Alex Davidson to legal director in London.
