SDL Auctions Bigwood has confirmed its commitment to property buyers and sellers in Birmingham by announcing its 2019 auctions calendar featuring seven dates at Villa Park football ground.
Jason Lee, Head of Auctions at SDL Auctions Bigwood, said: “In 2018 we increased our Birmingham auctions from six dates to seven and it proved an instant success. In fact, so far this year we’ve raised a fantastic £93m in sales for our vendors which is already more than the whole of 2017.
“So, once again we will be running seven auctions throughout 2019 as our commitment to our West Midlands customers continues.”
SDL Auctions Bigwood’s final auction of 2018 is at Villa Park football ground on Wednesday 12 December and then the team will be straight into planning a Valentine’s Day auction in 2019.
The first 2019 auction is on Thursday 14 February with six further auctions on Thursday 21 March, Thursday 23 May, Thursday 18 July, Thursday 12 September, Thursday 24 October and Thursday 12 December.
Jason added: “The popularity of selling by auction continues to grow and we’re responding to this market requirement by offering our auction events at Villa Park football ground while also offering our online auction proposition.
“Plus, for our buyers on auction day we’re offering more options than ever before. Our customers can now bid for lots in person at an auction event, by proxy, on the telephone or via the internet if they can’t attend.
“By making the process as simple as possible, and with the certainty of a sale on the fall of the hammer and completion in 28 days, we are making it easier to achieve a sale.”
