Panic Transport picks Palletforce

One of Warwickshire’s leading haulage and distribution firms has become the newest member of the growing Palletforce network, helping to guarantee the best possible service as network volumes continue to rise.

Based in Rugby, Panic Transport’s services also include warehousing, international full loads, part loads and groupage.

The company, which is also part of the Kinaxia Logistics Group, was founded in 1990 by current managing director Kevin Johnson and now employs a workforce of 130, with a fleet of 85 vehicles and over 90 trailers.

Panic Transport was a founder member of the Pall-Ex network before moving to Palletline in 2012 and will cover selected NN and LE postcodes including Daventry.

Kevin – who started his business as a one-man-one-van operation in the mid-1980s – believes the move to Palletforce will enable his company to continue its growth both at home and abroad and to further enhance its existing high levels of customer service in the face of changing demands.

He said: “It’s no secret that Palletforce’s ongoing investment in infrastructure and IT has made it a market leader in the UK logistics sector, and we are delighted to be joining at a time when the network is expanding into new and exciting markets.

“Palletforce’s ambitions match ours, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Palletforce member relations director David Breeze said: “Palletforce continues to invest heavily in ensuring our services, infrastructure and IT is the best in the business. We have the capacity and growth aspirations that other networks may lack and our ongoing strategy to connect trade, especially for international business, continues to attract some quality members from other networks.

“Kevin’s reputation as a first-class operator precedes him, and I have no doubt Panic Transport will prove a valued addition to the Palletforce family.”
