Leicester-based Go Travel Solutions has added a range of new discounts and offers for members of its local and nationwide SmartGo workplace travel schemes. The new active sports and outdoors offers provide discounts on interests including cycling, running, camping, mountaineering, hiking and snow sports for people whose employers are SmartGo members.
Nationally, the SmartGo network is now helping 96,000 employees, from organisations including Network Rail, Volkswagen Financial Services, PwC and GlaxoSmithKline, to save staff money and improve air quality. The new 10 per cent saving offers for SmartGo members are in conjunction with Rutland Cycling and Outdoor and Cycling Concepts – owner of major UK retailers including Cotswold Outdoor, Runners Need, Cycle Surgery and Snow + Rock.
SmartGo members can now save money on buying new bikes, bike servicing or cycle hire at Rutland Cycling. Savings can also be made at Cotswold Outdoor on over 250 of the best brands for camping, mountaineering or hiking; on a huge range of top running products at Runners Need, on buying a bike, clothing or accessories at Cycle Surgery; or at snow sports specialist retailer, Snow+Rock.

The SmartGo Leicester scheme supports local businesses across the city including Highcross Leicester, Leicester City Council, University of Leicester, De Montfort University, Mattioli Woods and Pick Everard with a combined employee figure of over 37,000.
SmartGo was created and is coordinated by local social enterprise, Go Travel Solutions. The company is based at Friars Mill by the Waterside in Leicester.
