New recruitment drive at HomeServe’s Nottingham hub

HomeServe is recruiting for 20 new Dispatcher roles in Nottingham

Leading home assistance provider HomeServe is set to grow the number of employees at its Nottingham hub by around 20 per cent.

Over the next few months, HomeServe is aiming to add another 40 roles to its growing Midlands hub, based at Aspect House, which currently employs more than 200 people across a number of frontline and support functions.

On Wednesday, 12 June 2019, HomeServe will host the first in a series of Open Days, which aims to hire around 20 new Dispatchers in advance of the traditional autumn and winter peak season for HomeServe.

The new dispatchers will play a key role in helping HomeServe’s Engineers keep Customers’ lives moving, and applicants are invited to come along to the Open Day at Aspect House to find out more about the role and benefits of working at HomeServe, and to register their interest.

A series of assessment centres will be arranged for those shortlisted for the new Nottingham-based roles.

“We’re absolutely committed to growing our Nottingham presence at Aspect House,” said Richard Shepherd, HomeServe’s Chief Operating Officer. “Key to our ongoing success is ensuring we have one of the best frontline workforces in the country to keep our Customers’ lives moving, so these Dispatcher roles will play an essential part in helping us achieve that as we gear up for our peak season.”

“This is essentially an open invitation for people who might be interested in working for us to come down, find out more and speak to the team,” added Elaine Barrass, Head of Recruitment at HomeServe.

“We have a number of new roles being made available in Nottingham – up to 40 over the next few months – so we’d encourage people to come along and find out more.

“At HomeServe, our priority is making work a great place for everyone, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion isn’t just a series of words. We are striving to make sure our People can flourish no matter what their background, so we’d invite anyone and everyone who might be interested to come along and find out more.”

As well as being home to a major contact centre for the leading home assistance provider, HomeServe’s Aspect House facility also includes a training base for hundreds of directly employed engineers and trainees.

For more details about the jobs available, applicants are invited to head along to the Open Day at Aspect House, Aspect Business Park, 26 Bennerley Road, Nottingham NG6 8WR between 9am and 8pm on Wednesday, 12 June 2019.
