Vindis Motor Group (Vindis), – the family-owned motor dealer group across East Anglia with a network of brands including Audi, Bentley, ŠKODA, SEAT, Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle – has appointed Nathan Rook as Head of Business at Vindis ŠKODA Cambridge.

Nathan, formerly Aftersales Manager and General Manager at Gates Ford, joins Vindis with an array of commercial knowledge, a people-centric approach and clear strategic thinking.

Based at the Vindis Service Centre in Cambridge Research Park, his new role will see him assuming daily operational control of all aftersales functions across Vindis ŠKODA Cambridge and playing a significant role in shaping the strategic thinking around the Future Retailing Concepts for Volkswagen Group.

Commenting on his new role, Nathan said: “The development of the ŠKODA brand over the last decade has been extremely impressive, so I am really excited to be joining Vindis Group to continue driving the momentum.”

Jamie Vindis, Managing Director for Vindis Group, comments: “Eighteen months since its launch, the Vindis Service Centre remains a relatively new business concept and strategic proposition, not just for the Group, but for the Volkswagen brand, so Nathan joins us at a very interesting time. I am confident Nathan will deliver on the potential of this business with his invaluable expertise and experience as ŠKODA readies itself for its next phase of substantial growth plans.”

In addition, Vindis Group has announced the promotion of Paul Garratt as Used Car Manager at its Head Office in Huntingdon. Paul began his journey with Vindis as Used Car Buyer in 2012 prior to making the move to Senior Purchase and Stock Manager in late 2017. It was from this platform that Paul was able to restructure the central Used Car team and assist in maximising the result from Used Cars through the period of Worldwide Hammonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP).

Jamie Vindis concludes: “Paul has a wealth of passion and strategies for further improving the Group’s Used Car performance throughout 2019 and beyond, so it was a natural decision to promote him to Used Car Manager. Bolstering the senior management team is an extremely positive investment for Vindis, and I look forward to supporting Nathan and Paul in their successes.”
