The Mary Stevens Hospice are running a ‘Wills Month’ initiative throughout November, offering the chance to write a Will at a discounted price and help raise funds for the Hospice at the same time.
The Stourbridge based Hospice has partnered with four local Solicitors and Will writers from around the Dudley Borough to help run the initiative to help raise vital funds for the Hospice.
Throughout November you can sign up to start writing your Will with one of the Hospice’s four trusted partners: Glover Priest, King Will’s Wills, Talbots Law and Wall James Chappell.
All Solicitors and Will writers will be donating 50% of the fees back to the Hospice, helping to ensure that the Hospice can continue to care for their community.
Alex Winstanley, Trusts Fundraiser at The Mary Stevens Hospice said: “Wills month is a fantastic opportunity to update or write your Will, which is one of those jobs that we all know we need to do but far too easily put off. Having a Will, and making sure it is up to date, is incredibly important. No matter your age or health, your Will ensures that your wishes are met and loved ones are taken care of.
We would also hope that, after your loved ones are taken care of, you might consider leaving your Hospice a gift. With 1 in 4 of our patients care paid for by gifts in Wills, your gift, no matter how small or large, will make a difference. It means that we can continue to provide and grow our services to meet the needs of every local family who needs our specialist care now and for years to come.”
Through this initiative, single Wills cost £90 and double Wills are being offered for £150. You do not need to write your Will in the month of November, simply register your interest during the month and the discount on your Will writing service will be applied.
Register your interest for the initiative on the Hospice website: www.marystevenshospice.co.uk/event/wills-month-november-2021/.
