Markerstudy Group staff raise over £3,700 for charities during annual Markerstudy Day

Known for ‘putting the fun into insurance’, Markerstudy Group celebrated its annual ‘Markerstudy Day’ on Friday 11 October with staff in Chesterfield raising £1,319 for Alzheimer’s Society.

The Group, which includes Auto Windscreens, as a whole raised £3,774 and supported two further charities – Mental Health Resource and The Brain Tumour Charity.

During the event employees celebrated the Group ‘coming of age’, as they marked its 18th anniversary and over 450 colleagues at Auto Windscreens’ Chesterfield HQ dressed up as people they admired when they were 18, took part in a bake sale, raffle and other fun challenges. Similar activities took place on the day at different office locations across the country.

Lizzie Smith-Foreman, Director of Group Marketing and Communications for Markerstudy Group, said: “‘It was great to see our colleagues in Chesterfield once again embracing the ethos of the group and helping the charities that mean so much to them. Our annual day is the perfect way for staff to let their hair down and unleash their creativity, raising money for good causes at the same time!”
