With National Apprenticeship Week in full flow, branded environment specialist MacroArt, a Moss Global Company, is celebrating the remarkable achievement of Geneve Gurr, who has been named Learner of the Year by Learn2Print.

Since starting with the business in March 2021, Geneve has progressed through MacroArt’s dedicated training programme to become a valued member of the print fabrication team. Her journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring print professionals and emphasises the importance of investing in education and training within the industry.

Learn2Print foster learning and development in the print industry and bestow the Learner of the Year award to the individual who exhibits exceptional qualities and achievements within their learning journey. Geneve’s six tutors highlighted her remarkable progression, thirst for knowledge, and exemplary work standards throughout the year, making the decision unanimous.

The Learner of the Year award holds significant importance within the print community and is sponsored by Heidelberg a leading player in global print technology. Geneve’s achievement reflects not only her personal dedication but also the high standards upheld by MacroArt’s training and development programs.

Geneve said: “I am delighted to be awarded Learner of the Year by Learn2Print. I didn’t know when I started with MacroArt in 2021 where this journey would take me – but with the support of everyone here I’ve been able to make huge strides in this industry and I can’t wait for what’s next!”

Lee Garnett, Continuous Improvement Manager at MacroArt said: “Since joining us three years ago, Geneve has gone from strength to strength. Everybody at MacroArt is so proud of her accomplishment. Nurturing talent in the industry is part and parcel of what we do as a business. She’s a tremendous success story and the perfect example as to what is possible with the right attitude and application.”

MacroArt’s dedication to training young talent has recently expanded with the launch of its partnership with Inspire 2 Ignite, which focuses on bridging the gap between NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) youths in the UK. The two companies will be making their presence felt at career fairs across East Anglia during National Apprenticeship Week and beyond.
