One of Coventry and Warwickshire’s most established Indian restaurants has reached the final round of judging for the SME National Business Awards 2019 in the Restaurant of the Year category.

Situated at the heart of Coventry’s medieval city centre on Spon Street, Turmeric Gold has been a prominent name within the city for nearly two decades – becoming renowned for offering an authentic Indian dining experience that incorporates traditional recipes with their personal unique blend of contemporary dishes.

Having already secured a Gold Taste Award this year as well as being shortlisted in the Midlands Food & Drink Awards, Turmeric Gold is no stranger to accolades and has established itself as one of Coventry’s elite restaurants, earning praise from critics such as Match.Com who voted it as one of the best Asian restaurants in the UK.

In a successful end to 2019, the Coventry-based restaurant has also been shortlisted for the Taste of England Award in the West Midlands Tourism Awards 2020.

Priding itself on its long-standing belief that a restaurant is as only as good as the last meal, Turmeric Gold’s high standards of service and unparalleled food offering has established it as a restaurant of choice within Coventry and Warwickshire and beyond.

The ambience of the restaurant coupled with an exotic and diverse menu choice is just the right combination to create a true dining experience and one that surpasses Turmeric Gold’s rivals far and wide.

A firm favourite within Coventry, Turmeric Gold conjures a unique twist in the preparation of their dishes through encompassing culinary inspirations from western and eastern cultures which involves using only the healthiest of ingredients in the cooking process.

Receiving a footfall of over 20,000 customers per year, Turmeric Gold’s reputation as a popular destination restaurant within Coventry and Warwickshire has attracted famished diners from across the UK including a host of well-known celebrities.
