Boogie Beat Music and Movement, owned by Hannah Cavalier of Aldershot, is a children’s music and movement activity provider running community classes, early years workshops, intergenerational sessions and birthday parties across the UK and this year is celebrating its 25th year.

Boogie Beat Music and Movement was announced as a winner of Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday (SBS) community back in March 2024 and last week Hannah was invited to attend an event in Birmingham which was inspiring and motivational to collect her certificate from Theo Paphitis.

A 15-Year Tradition of Support for Small Businesses

Now in its 15th year, Theo Paphitis’ SBS event brings together small business owners from across the UK to help them connect, grow, and thrive. Each Sunday between 5 and 7.30pm, small business owners are invited to share details about their businesses on Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn using the hashtags #SBS and #TheoPaphitisSBS. On Monday, Theo selects three winners from each platform to become part of his prestigious SBS community, offering them valuable resources and exposure to help their businesses grow.

Each year an event is held to the Small Business Sunday winners (over 4000) and provides them with the chance to network, hear from successful entrepreneurs, and chat with major sponsors like NatWest, Google, DHL and others. It is a unique opportunity for small businesses to find the support they need to scale up and expand their reach.

The SBS event was filled with positivity, excitement and inspiration throughout the day. Business owners were able to connect with one another, exchange ideas, and form lasting relationships. For Hannah, the experience was made even more special by the opportunity to meet other franchisors and business owners, all of whom shared the same drive to build and grow successful businesses. “It was so inspiring to have so many small businesses together,” said Hannah. “The event really highlighted the power of community and the importance of supporting each other to succeed.”
