A Leicestershire dental practice has undergone a major expansion following funding from Barclays.
Whetstone Dental Practice on Grove Road has more than doubled in size after the business bought the neighbouring property to create one state of the art surgery.
The business is owned by Karim Balov, a dentist with over twenty years’ experience, having qualified in Sweden in 1997. The project was overseen by Rita Koria-Singadia, Practice Manager.
Commenting on the funding, Karim Balov said: “We have created what we believe is a fabulous environment for our patients and staff which includes the latest equipment as well as a second surgery. We hope to expand our current range of services to include implants, orthodontics and cosmetic work. Whetstone as a village is also expanding with the development of new homes and we hope to provide a service that meets this growing need.”
Funding for the development was provided by Barclays. Rose Barnard, Business Manager at Barclays in Leicestershire said: “Karim and Rita have created a fabulous new surgery for their patients. I am delighted we have been able to support them with these plans and wish them lots of success for the future.”
The business employs seven staff, many of whom have worked for the business for over a decade.
