Students in Leicester will now have an even greater choice of luxury student accommodation once a new development in the city completes.
Stepnell has partnered with Zone Developments to bring high-quality student accommodation to De Montfort Street in the centre of Leicester; the fourth project of its kind in the city which the team have delivered.
The impressive scheme will be completed in time for the new academic year and has already proved so popular that all of the available 18 apartments have been let.
Formally office space for a commercial property agent, the new residential development will feature open-plan studios set over three floors with modern facilities such as an onsite gym and cinema rooms.
Neil Thakkar director at Zone said: “Leicester is a prime location for our sought-after luxury student developments and we’re really pleased to be working with Stepnell once again to bring another exclusive student residential scheme to the city.

Tom Sewell, East Midlands regional director from Stepnell also commented.

“Our site team has been working within a relatively restricted site in a conservation area to refurbish buildings which were previously used as commercial premises. We have introduced a three-storey new build element which complements the existing buildings and provides the additional space needed to deliver exciting new living spaces given its former use as offices. This has all been delivered with the expertise of our local employees which have been complemented by our long standing supply chain partners.
