Last month (27th June), #SBS Small Business Sunday hosted the final #SBS Regional Business Bootcamp powered by NatWest, this time in Bristol. TV Dragon and #SBS Creator Theo Paphitis launched these UK-wide regional events in partnership with NatWest Business to provide free regional opportunities for small businesses to upskill and take their passion to the next level.
Leading small business network #SBS Small Business Sunday, created by Theo Paphitis in 2010, launched the first Business Bootcamp this April in Manchester. Since then, #SBS has welcomed over 300 small businesses to events in Glasgow, Milton Keynes, London and Bristol.
Retail Entrepreneur & #SBS Creator Theo Paphitis: “I’m absolutely delighted that we’ve been able to deepen our existing relationship with NatWest Business to offer these fantastic regional Bootcamps, offering yet another opportunity for small businesses across the UK to turbocharge their success. The #SBS network is all about community and supporting one another, so it’s great to see that over 80% of attendees have been able to discover and connect with more businesses in their local area following the Bootcamps.”
Each Bootcamp is exclusive to members of the free-to-join business network #SBS Small Business Sunday and has offered opportunities for attendees to learn more about crucial business practices that could help take their business to the next level.
Theo Paphitis made a surprise appearance at the London #SBS Business Bootcamp, joining NatWest’s Managing Director, Business Banking & International Retail James Holian.

Throughout the series of Bootcamps, attendees learnt everything from understanding their customers and email marketing to branding and getting into the press for zero cost in sessions delivered by NatWest Business, Google and businesses within the #SBS business network.

#SBS Small Business Sunday is one of the UK’s leading small business networks, with there now being over 4,000 businesses in the community. It’s a network committed to providing small businesses with opportunities that help them upskill and take their business to the next level – and this series of Bootcamps, exclusively available to members of the network, gave a regional opportunity for them to do just that.
