A popular West Midlands travel firm is making sure a community event in Solihull goes with a real bang this year.
LandFlight has stepped in to provide free bus travel to and from the Solihull Round Table Fireworks spectacular which takes place on Saturday, November 9, from 4.30pm until 8.30pm, at Tudor Grange Park in Solihull.
Free travel will be offered on LandFlight services from 3.30pm until the final bus departures from Solihull town centre.
People just need to show their individual or family e-tickets for the event to the driver to travel for free.
LandFlight director Danny Matthews said: “Being based in Solihull, we feel very much part of the community and are always keen to support local events.
“The Round Table Fireworks are wonderful as not only do they provide fantastic fun for thousands of people but they also raise such a huge amount of money for local good causes.
“We are delighted that Solihull Round Table asked us to help support the event this year and we hope everyone has a fantastic time.”
Daniel Gibbin, from Solihull Round Table, said: “We are so grateful to Danny and all the drivers at LandFlight for agreeing to help out in this way.
“Not only is their gesture great for the people attending, but it’s also great for the environment as it means many people who would have used their cars to get here will now take advantage of the free transport LandFlight is kindly providing.
“This is one of the borough’s biggest events and is one that brings so much of the Solihull community together. It promises to be a fantastic night.”
Last year, Solihull Round Table was able to give away more than £31,000 to local good causes as a result of its fireworks event.
