The reception brought together a delegation of female founders from across the North East to celebrate female entrepreneurship, and innovation. The event highlighted the importance of supporting female entrepreneurs, strengthening regional ecosystems beyond London and a call for action to invest in female founders in the North East.
The delegation was led by Entrepreneur and Founder Sophie Milliken MBE, City Ladies Networking, and the North East Combined Authority Mayor Kim McGuniness, championing the talent, innovation, resilience and ambition of North East Female Founders.
Michelle joined fellow founders, investors, policymakers, and leaders to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing female entrepreneurs, including access to funding, and scaling impact-driven innovation.
