Leading provider of Internet of Things [IoT] technologies and services, IoT Solutions Group [IoTSG], is gearing up to host a webinar addressing how local councils can tackle the winter care crisis by investing in technology solutions.
Titled ‘Tackling the Winter Care Crisis – Funding & Technology Solutions for Local Authorities’, the event will be held via video conferencing [viewable through an internet browser] on Tuesday 23rd November at 2pm.
The webinar will take the form of a live virtual panel discussion. Members of IoTSG and local authority representatives will discuss how the NHS Better Care Fund [previously known as Winter Pressures Funding] is used to identify those most at risk of fuel poverty and ill health. These solutions can help keep residents healthy at home, alleviating pressure on the NHS this winter.
During the event, local council representatives on the panel will also discuss technological solutions to discreetly monitor residents and their homes’ environmental conditions to indicate ill health or harmful living conditions quickly.
Additionally, there will be a short Q&A session that will offer viewers the chance to submit questions for the panel via chat during the event or before the event by emailing hello@iotsg.co.uk.
All attendees will also receive IoTSG’s latest infographic on the state of the care crisis, as well as more information on the NHS Better Care Fund.
