The Institute of Directors (IoD) East of England has announced the shortlists for its 2021 Director of the Year Awards.
The cross-sector awards cover the five counties of Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Norfolk, celebrating the leadership, achievements and contributions of business leaders across a range of categories. Category winners go on to compete in the IoD national awards in 2022.
As the 2021 finalists were revealed, IoD East of England Senior Branch Manager Richard Holdaway commented, “After what has undoubtedly been a challenging nineteen months, we felt it was right and proper to invite directors from across the region to share their achievements in business, in the communities we work and live in, and the environment.
“In reflection of the unprecedented commercial landscape, we chose to adapt the categories for 2021 and we were delighted with the number of entries from across the East of England. I look forward to celebrating not just the awards, but the start of the new year with our finalists and guests at the awards event in January.”
