LOCTITE® will once again be among the exhibitors at Medical Technology Ireland, taking place at Galway Racecourse on 23-24 September 2026, to present adhesive solutions developed for today’s fast-moving medical device sector.
At Stand L80C, visitors will be able to speak with LOCTITE specialists about the company’s adhesives, dispensing systems and curing technologies, and how these can support the development of compact, safe and high-performance medical devices.
With more than 40 biocompatible adhesives – alongside hundreds of other proven solutions – LOCTITE empowers customers to enhance design flexibility, improve manufacturing efficiency and meet stringent regulatory requirements.
The technologies on show have been developed with key medical manufacturing priorities in mind, from reliable bonding across different materials to efficient processing, sterilisation performance and dependable long-term product integrity.
Among the solutions being highlighted are medical-grade cyanoacrylate adhesives designed for rapid cure across a range of substrates, robust thermal performance and testing in line with the ISO 10993 protocol.
The stand will also provide an opportunity to explore the chemistry behind these products, Henkel’s monomer production expertise and the role LOCTITE technologies can play in meeting the needs of intricate assemblies, smaller device formats and demanding manufacturing conditions.
Sustainability will also form part of the stand discussions, with LOCTITE showcasing adhesive formulations that reduce or eliminate chemicals of concern, including CMRs, SVHCs and skin irritants, to support safer workplaces and more sustainable production practices.
