A sales centre for used Volvo trucks is opening in Walsall following a £3million investment by the Hartshorne Group, one of the largest private dealer groups in the West Midlands.
The site will create jobs and will begin trading in January, offering quality pre-owned trucks in order to meet healthy demand in the haulage sector, confirming the region’s strong credentials as a road transport hub.
Hartshorne Group is a subsidiary of the Hartshorne Crossroads Group, a privately owned Volvo Truck and Bus Dealer Group with a turnover of c. £200 million. The group employs 750 people and operates from 20 dealer locations across The Midlands, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

The Hartshorne Group Used Truck Centre is on a 1.3 acre site in Bentley Mill Way, and is conveniently located close to local motorway links. The company has invested around £1million in the building, with a further £2million worth of stock. The site will initially create at least 10 new jobs.
The centre promises to offer a vast choice of high quality affordable trucks, and it also features a fully equipped workshop / body shop that is capable of making vehicle enhancements for customers. The site is located close to the Hartshorne Group’s head office. #
The sales centre opens its doors to customers following a launch event attended by hauliers and haulage suppliers from across the region on Friday, January 12th. 2018.
