Harris Lamb deliver Cat B fit out at Dudley industrial estate

Building consultants at Harris Lamb have carried out a Cat B project at a Dudley industrial estate.

The team were tasked by Deligo to oversee works to fit out the building ready for occupation.

Works at the unit on the Pear Tree Lane estate included the construction of a staff canteen, additional warehouse toilet facilities and first floor office meeting rooms.

Marcus Andrew, who oversaw the Cat B fit out, said: “This is the latest project undertaken by our team at Grazebrook, further to the project management of the £7.7million speculative scheme at the site to deliver three distribution/industrial units and two terraces of trade/industrial units at the park.

“Completed in 2022, the scheme delivered high-specification warehousing at the park to meet the ongoing demand for premium industrial stock in the Black Country, and this particular project is the next step to meeting that demand” he said.

In addition to the construction of new facilities to enhance the building, Harris Lamb oversaw the reconfiguration and alterations to heating, cooling and lighting systems, and delivered a furniture package for the canteen and the open plan office.

“The completed project provides a comprehensive, high-quality solution at a prime West Midlands industrial site at a time when such accommodation is extremely scarce throughout the region,” added Marcus.
