Fountains continue to receive beautiful bouquets of flowers from Marks & Spencer’s through our community friend Sue, who always remembers us on her deliveries.
As a treat for Mother’s Day we saved some of the flowers and enjoyed a creative flower arranging session with Sue via zoom in Brueton lounge.
This session challenged us all a little more than the previous one as we turned our simple oasis into a basket effect, using weeping willow collected from the grounds.
We then went on to produce a bright display of flowers. The results were really impressive for a first attempt and everyone felt rather proud of their efforts.
Brueton lounge smelt like a florists and the wonderful scent filled the home and could be smelt for many hours after the activity.
A big thank you to Sue for being an excellent teacher and bringing a lot of joy to our residents.
