Bringing the publication into the modern era of print, the FHT’s quarterly magazine enjoys a fresh redesign and name change, just in time for its Spring 2022 issue.
Formally International Therapist magazine, the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) are delighted to welcome readers to its newly redesigned membership magazine now titled The Wellness Room.
Following an increase in awareness of health and wellbeing since the Covid-19 pandemic, it was important that FHT’s membership magazine echoed and represented this. With its re-design The Wellness Room looks to create a channel of communication that is engaging and reliable for its readers, all while boasting a contemporary new look, feel and size, supported by a natural colour palette and simple fonts.
As a leading trade magazine for professional and student holistic therapists, the topics covered fall within FHT’s three main communities of therapy: complementary, holistic beauty and sports, aiming to give the readers insight into the best treatments, newest technologies and spotlight those in their community. Not only that, the redesign includes an added focus of general health and wellbeing alongside brand new education and businesses pages, with tips, tricks and advice for practitioners.
Newly appointed editor and FHT’s Press Officer, Molly Denton, said: ‘The redesign was needed to bring the magazine into the modern realm of health and wellbeing publications. As FHT is the leading association for complementary, beauty and sports therapists, The Wellness Room provides an essential touchpoint for our members and burgeons on a new sense of community.
Monica Price, FHT’s CEO, said: I am delighted with our newly designed magazine. The feedback from our members has been incredible, and with our Editor Molly at the helm, we are ensuring that The Wellness Room is current, engaging and packed full of interesting features for all our members.
A ‘Best Association Magazine’ finalist in the 2018 Association Excellence Awards, the FHT looks forward to entering The Wellness Room into future awards, as it provides independent recognition of the publication’s quality.
