EdTech firm appoint new Head of Operations

Paul Dixon

Oxbridge, a distance learning college, has appointed Paul Dixon as its new Head of Student Operations. The role was created to add a new level of senior management after a record-breaking December period for student enrolments, which echoes the college’s impressive year-on-year growth in the last four years.

Paul joins the college with 20 years’ advisory and consultancy experience, after a 16-year long career with Halifax. Now head of student operations, Paul’s aim is to improve collaboration across the college to facilitate the student learning experience. Not just focusing on enrolments but the complete process.

Commenting on his appointment, Paul said: “The college gave me the warmest of welcomes, like nothing I’ve experienced before. Oxbridge’s friendly culture made fitting in and getting down to business so easy.”

He continued: “I’ve been helping people make good decisions for two decades in the finance and mortgage sector. Now head of Oxbridge’s operations, I want to make positive industry changes, supporting my team to deliver real value and opportunity that helps everyone achieve their ambitions with maximum satisfaction.”

Clair Birch, Oxbridge’s Head Curriculum Manager, comments: “Paul’s arrival is positive for the college’s growth in consolidating course advisors. With better advisors on board, we’ll be more efficient at providing the right advice and support that enables learners to make better decisions when choosing the right course.”

Matt Jones, Oxbridge’s Founder, added: “For Oxbridge, it’s always been about supporting and championing our incredible students. Paul’s appointment sees a step-change in the way we provide our service and he will be instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious targets of growing the next generation learning platform. Empowering more and more free-spirited learners to achieve their goals and improving their futures.”
